Blimey heck, where do you start:

Not having to put up with sport on the telly

being able to to hog all the bed and bed clothes

not getting the 3rd degree if I want to go somewhere/do something sans partner

not being nagged (yep, blokes do it too)

the place stays tidy (no effort required)

being me !!  but your right nick if we liked it why we here lol.. nice to be your own boss doing what you want and not running around after anyone but then nice to go home from work knowing someone waiting for you Gee what do us women want ? lol

going were ever i want with who i want and not having to ask or feel guilty for doing it , watchinhg what i want when i want ,and not having to watch or listen to football ,especialy when on holiday !

My ex striped me of my personality confidence etc so I have enjoyed the fact I can breath and not feel guilty, it has taken 15 years to get back to normal but I have enjoyed the learning curve, I have started to talk to men without quaking and on the same level, I have enjoyed freedom and above all peace but hey I miss the closeness now and want more. Now dont cry I am really happy. The enjoyment of being single is you do not answer to anyone, the mistakes you make are your own the fun you have is the same but you can lie in bed till you want eat what you like when you like watch whats on the telly when you want, have the taste in music you love, lie in the bath with the door open walk round the house naked, the list works both ways lol
